Styled shoot to considerA new venue near Sandy, Oregon, is hosting a styled shoot on Sunday 10/27 as organized by local vendors. The shoot will likely go from 1 to 6 p.m. Vendors are on a volunteer basis except to pay for physical goods (there is a budget for florals, rentals, cake, etc.). The team already has a planner, photographer, and florist, but is potentially in need of more vendors including: Desserts, cakes, etc. Attire (dress, suits, etc.) Rentals (e.g. dinnerware, linens, etc. for a table setting) Anything else folks might want to have featured and could be part of a wedding

Former Altared speaker Empress Rules Equity Consulting is hosting “Politic’n & Sip’n” from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday 10/11 at openHAUS in Portland, Oregon. This is a free non-partisan voter registration, education, and community event that’s open to all ages. It’s a dry event with free food and drink on a first-come, first-serve basis. Quimper Events Collective is hosting the first-ever Jefferson County Wedding Tour on Saturday 10/19 and Sunday 10/20 in the Port Townsend area of Washington. Attendees will tour three styled venues, meet dozens of vendors, attend a "mock reception" dance party, and shop the local makers market. Vendors are encouraged to attend whether or not they’re part of the event. Per Quimper, “We hope you will come mix and mingle with our local vendors so you have better connections and referrals when you're selected to play a part in a Port Townsend or Olympic Peninsula wedding.”
