Here’s how we’ll spend your money.

Altared’s operating expenses for 2024-25 are:

• $15.98 — Zoom (payment for November and December 2024; we found a promo code to get these at $7.99 per month)

• $15.99 — Zoom (payment for January 2025)

• $168 — annual Squarespace email campaign renewal (for the newsletters, post-meet-up networking emails, etc.)

• $192 — annual Squarespace renewal (for the website)

Any surplus remaining after taxes + the above expenses are paid will be set aside to invest into Altared. There are big ticket items — like an in-person educational gathering and a trademark — that we’d like to buy someday.

Altared co-founder, Q&A host, and newsletter editor Beth Kramer does not receive any compensation from Altared. She’s a volunteer. The folks who host the in-person wedding vendor meet-ups are also volunteers.
